Coasteering (summer)

Coasteering is a new outdoor activity, first developed in northern Europe (Wales, United Kingdom) and then extended to the whole of the Mediterranean, thanks to the mild climate and warmer sea.

Coasteering means following the water line, either by climbing or swimming. You can also dive in, sometimes from a considerable height.

Here’s a short video, which illustrates this activity:

I have included coasteering among my adventures because in the summer of 2011 I had the chance to try out and propose an easy, enjoyable coasteering route at Alghero-Capo Caccia on the Pischina Salìda sea cliff.

In two hours of pure fun it’s possible for everyone – including with no prior experience – to try out this new and innovative outdoor activity! And for the next trips there’s a real treat in store: a thrilling 50 m zip wire over the sea..

Groups are composed of 6 or more participants and the price per person is 35 €.

The price includes the supply of the necessary technical equipment (helmet, wetsuit, life jacket).
