Badde Pentumas

The gorge of Badde Pentumas is a deep canyon that stretches out across the limestone massif of Supramonte di Oliena (NU), on the western spurs of the magnificent and magical Lanaitho Valley.

It is a dry canyoning route, that is, without water flow or the presence of permanent ponds, characterized by a long sequence of abseils to be carried out with the use of appropriate harnesses and belay devices.

The excursion begins with a tiring but fascinating uphill approach lasting about 2 hours and 30 minutes, thanks to which you reach the mysterious plain of Sovana which is the main water basin of the Pentumas canyon. During the descent of the gorge there are 13 different abseils with a maximum height of 25 meters.
