Punta Scala Mpedrada
On byThe scrambling and abseiling itinerary of Punta Scala Mpedrada is one of the best known in the San Pantaleo area, near Olbia. It is one of the first routes of this kind in Sardinia, which in some way has been the forerunner for the realization of many other routes in the nearby rocks.
The approach, with a total duration of about two hours, develops on a pleasant path that ends with a funny scrambling between gigantic boulders located near the summit of Scala Mpedrada. From the summit begins the long sequence of abseil ut to 60 meters high. Particularly striking the descent into the void at the center of one of the biggest tafoni in Europe.
